Cavanacor House and Gallery

Cavanacor Gallery is located in the grounds of Cavanacor House, a seventeenth century house with considerable history.  Established in 1999 as a professional venue for exhibiting emerging and established national and international artistsCavanacor Gallery has since achieved a significant reputation nationally.  

To date the gallery has shown some of the country's leading practitioners: Hughie O'Donoghue, Felim Egan, Deborah Brown, Neil Shawcross, Sean Fingleton, Eamon O'Kane, Carolyn Mulholland, Brian Ballard, Diarmuid Delargy, Michael Cullen and resident artists International artists include; Huib Fens, Reinout Van Der Burgh, Svend Bruun, Klaus Diersen, Anita Taylor, April Kinser and Arno Kramer.

The curator is art critic Marianne O'Kane and the gallery provides an important location for investment in contemporary art. There is a Craft Shop, walled garden in the fortified yard, guided tours of house and contemporary art gallery.There are approximately six exhibitions per year and always a range of exclusive limited edition prints available.
